TradeBoot, like all successful ideas, comes from the encounter between passion and a desire to do something.
In our case, the passion has always resided in the financial markets and in that activity that takes the name of “trading”. As for the desire to do something, well … that has always been there. This is where our journey begins: twelve years of hard work, love, perseverance and a lot of study.
In 2007 came love at first sight: we madly fell in love with automated trading. Weeks, months, years spent looking for the best performing strategies made full sense when we had discovered that an algorithm could be implemented instead of us.
Our way of trading changes irreversibly: from manual traders we become controllers, thus eliminating the psychological component and dedicating time to the study and research of new strategies, reaching ever higher levels of professionalism.
We were constantly looking for experienced and helpful programmers who could transform ideas into algorithms. However, the time wasted and money was always higher: to obtain a single algorithm we took many working days, bearing high consultancy costs for programmers.
Then we said to ourselves: why not to automate the automation? And it’s not a word-play.
Thus was born the need for a platform capable of automating our trading ideas!
We gathered the best computer engineers and web designers, we began to work tirelessly on our intuition: a project that lasted two years, initially born for private use and then a source of curiosity for friends and acquaintances. The requests for information grew to the point of making us reflect with a clear mind on the possibility of spreading the culture of automated trading to the masses: how many traders could be interested in automating? How many traders who already have a job, each in their own sector, like us at the beginning, on the other hand, would like to tradeand don’t have time to spend hours and hours in front of the computer?
We decided to give it a try.
